Situated 10 kilometres to the east of Tangier and as a tourist destination receives a large number of visitors throughout the year, owing, in addition to the exceptional setting, to its lighthouse and castle, which, despite their medieval style, were built in the early twentieth century. Tangier’s most exclusive, chic and ‘powerful’ neighbourhood, where the most influential people stay when visiting the city, takes its name from the cape. The area overlooks the sea and is a haven of peace and quiet where you can hear the sound of the ocean...

The site indeed has something to please. Covering an area of nearly 70 ha, the Perdicaris forest, better known as the Rmilat forest, constitutes a veritable botanical park containing hundreds of native and exotic species, and which also offers a breathtaking view of the Strait of Gibraltar and the nearby Ocean. Located 4 km from Tangier, this place of relaxation has seen an exponential increase in the number of its visitors, particularly during weekends and holidays, since the 90s. This influx has made the site the natural and biological identity of Tangier...

It is frequented by many tourists who go there to see the spectacular sunsets and have a drink at the beach bars in the area...

Very knowledgeable guide who knows everything and everyone. He took us to Perdicaris , Cape Spartel, the Hercules Cave, the Kasbah and Medina. He is very patient, flexible and friendly. His English is perfect. The tour exceeded our expectations. We’d very much recommend him as a top guide
We met Ben on an organised tour after which he took a few of us on a walking tour of Tangier Old Town. We had an excellent time and he showed us some areas we would never have gone if we had been on our own. Very informative and interesting. Tangier is a wonderful place and was made better with Ben’s guidance. We would highly recommend.
My husband and I were so lucky to get a tour with Khalid. We had such a personalized experience. We visited the Hercules Caves and then did a walking tour in the Medina. During our tour he shared his knowledge in history as well as personal experiences. Our tour felt like going on a walk with an old friend. It was truly a pleasure to had him as our guide. 10 out of 10! Highly Recommended!!
